A special thank you to Dr. Huber and all the staff at the Prairie Center at Avera McKennan for all the care received during his battle with cancer. Also, thank you to the staff at Avera Sacred Heart and St. Michaels Avera for caring for him in his final months. Thank you to Arlis Kafka and the Wagner Cancer Society and the Avon/Dante Pink Ladies for their donations and care during Ernie’s battle. We are grateful for Father Jim and Father Joe for all the prayers, visits and for the beautiful service and to the St. Mary’s Altar Society for providing a wonderful time of fellowship after the service. Many thanks to American Legion Greer Post #11, Rollie Bucholz VFW Post #7319 & SD National Guard Honor Guard for the Military honor at Ernie’s burial. We are profoundly grateful to Chad and Lisa Peters for their loving support and guidance and helping us provide a celebration of Ernie’s life. So shall it be at the end of the world, the angels shall come forth and sever the wicked from among us.
