Read moreOn Wednesday, June 16, Wagner’s 14U teener team traveled to Freeman to play one game and came out on the low end of 3-0 score. Wagner would use three pitchers in this game, each throwing two innings. Joey Cournoyer was first to toe the slab for Wagner. He gave up one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out two. Frank Soukup then came on and did not give up a run in his time on the mound. He allowed two hits, walked one, and struck out four. Preston McFayden started in the fifth inning. He allowed two unearned runs on two hits while walking on and striking out one.
