The Wagner Early Learning Center was full of Christmas cheer and smiles on Monday, December 13th, as they held their Preschool Winter Concert. The preschoolers performed four fun Christmas songs with help from the Early Learning Center staff. Photos by Jenna Hemenway.

Although election changes for 2022 are optional, producers must enroll through a signed contract each year. North Point Recreation Area held their North Pole at North Point event Friday and Saturday. Saturday Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a visit. They also had hayrides and many activities at each cabin including crafts, hot cider, letters to Santa and soldiers.

Services for Marlene Beck were held December 21 at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke, interment followed at Herrick Cemetery. Marlene Mavis Beck was born April 11, 1952 at Wagner to Ulysses and Sybil (Brown Bear) Iron Hawk. She died December 16, 2021 at the Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell at the age of 69 years. She was a very loving, caring and kind mom, grandma and friend. She will be greatly missed and was loved by so many.
