AVERA KICKS OFF BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH WITH MOBILE MAMMOGRAM SCREENING

Avera sponsored an event to begin Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Fort Randall Casino on Friday, September 29th. Avera was able to bring the mobile mammogram unit to the Fort Randall Casino for breast cancer screenings, due to a grant from the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Even though Avera sponsored the event, it was because of local breast cancer survivor, Marci Uribe, that this event was created and took place.

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Colton to take on the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Saturday, September 30th. The Lady Red Raiders showed perseverance and rallied to win in 3 straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 27-25.

NATIONAL 4-H WEEK 2023

Rotary News

The September 27th meeting of the Wagner Rotary Club was brought to order by President Becky Brunsing with just a light tap on the Rotary bell, which was commented on by some members! There was no Pastor present, so the President read a prayer for clubs that she obtained from the internet. Good old internet!
