The 14Us got off to a good start as Hunter Loeffler took the ball and sat down the Angels in order in the first inning. In the bottom half Wagner would strike for two after the first two batters were put out. Carter Cournoyer, Joey Cournoyer, and Javian Pesicka all would single to the load the bases. Cole Bergin then collected his first of three hits on the night as he knocked in two. This gave Wagner a lead that they would not relinquish as they went on to win by a score of 11-2.
