BIBLE STUDY STARTING

On Saturday, August 21, Clayton Wittmeier, along with Bob and Debbie Ruppelt traveled to Watertown and spent the evening with Karen and Larry Johnson. On Sunday, they all attended a Gelling family gathering at Scott and Mari Perrenoud's lake home near Spicer, MN. Others in attendance were Donna and Joe Larsen of Crooks, Willma Wissink of Canton and Tiena Zondervan of Willmar, MN. Several nieces and nephews of Clayton (and cousins of his daughters) were also there to celebrate and catch up on the family. Relatives came from Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota.

This summer I attended the celebration of life service for Dr. Rick Holm, the original Prairie Doc who founded this newspaper column, a radio show and a television show now entering its twentieth season. He died from pancreatic cancer in March of 2020 during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and thus there was no public service at the time.
