WAGNER EARNS 2ND PLACE AT THE CAVALIER CLASH

The Lady Red Raider Volleyball team competed in the Cavalier Clash that consisted of 16 teams from around the state. Wagner was in a pool with Alcester-Hudson and Elk Point Jefferson. Wagner won their pool by defeating Alcester Hudson in 2 sets with scores of 25-6 and 25-11. Next was EPJ and they came away with the win 2-0, scores were 25-23 and 25-15. Then the Lady Red Raiders moved into bracket play and faced Bon Homme and won by scores of 25-17 and 25-14. Then in the semi-finals round they went up against Avon and came away with the win with scores of 25-18 and 31-29. In the championship Wagner met up with Platte/Geddes and ended up short with scores of 12-25 and 21-25.

WAGNER DEFEATS AVON IN 4 SETS

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Avon on Tuesday, September 14th to face the Lady Pirates. The Lady Red Raiders rallied and came away with the victory with scores of 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, and 25-23.
