Funeral services for Traun Cook, Sr., Inyan Duta Hoksina “Red Rock Boy” 38, of Yanktonwere Tuesday, October 5, at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Hill Church Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Read moreThe Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder Cross Country Runners completed their regular season at the Parkston Invite last Thursday, October 7. Lexi Schoenfelder and Anna DeHaan led the Girls Team finishing in 7th and 9th places while improving their personal season times to 20:38 and 20:40. Seventh Grader, Eilie De-Haan ran her first 5K and took 18th place with a time of 22:18. Sonya Hansum struggled with leg cramps and finished thirty-second. Tony Hansum, who has been working hard to break 20 minutes in a 5K, ran a 20:16 to earn 32nd place in the Boys Varsity.
