Kendall Leo Wiechmann, 65, of Parkston passed away Thursday, Dec 9, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls. All services will be held at the National Guard Armory in Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 6 p.m.. A Celebration of Kendall’s Life will be Saturday, December 18 at 11 a.m. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Catherine Charging Hawk, 83, of Yankton were Saturday, December 11 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Some good friends returned recently from a very successful hunt in Africa, and they told me that because of the virus, Africa has never been more affordable. If an African hunt is a personal consideration, plan to attend the Dallas Safari Club Expo January 6-9, 2022. Dallas is a very makeable one day drive. There are also direct flights to Dallas out of Sioux Falls.
