Feeding South Dakota food distribution will be held Friday, Jan. 28 at the Scotland Community Church at 8:45 a.m.; the Tyndall Fire Hall at 10:30 a.m. and at the Avon Fire Hall at 12 noon. This will continue to be a “drive-thru” distribution until further notice.

Read moreThis year Becky Haenfler’s junior high girls basketball team consists of three 8th graders (Kate Swier, Lexi Vanderlei, Abby Gretschmann) and five 7th graders (Jordyn Voigt, Rilyn Thury, Breanna Hento, Tessa Pazour, Charlie Simpson). The season ended with a record of 13-6, placing 2nd at the Wagner tournament, and 2nd at their conference tournament. The team worked very hard all season, and the girls got to play a lot of minutes of basketball.
