Read moreThe Red Raiders lost to Chamberlain Friday night by a score of 55-37. The Cubs forced 17 first half turnovers and made things difficult for Wagner all night. The Red Raiders trailed 24-16 at half time and 40-28 after three quarters. Toby Zephier led the team with 14 points and 4 steals. Dustin Honomichl had 10 points, Ted Slaba 6, Preston McFayden 3, Matt Link and Glenn Cournoyer each scored 2. Wagner was 6 of 7 from the line and lost the rebounding battle 22-33.

The Red Raiders pulled away from the Cubs in the third quarter outscoring them 13-5 making the score 37-27. Wagner held on to their lead winning the game by a score of 43-34. The Red Radiers were led by Carter Cournoyer who scored a team high 16 points, Preston McFayden scored 9, Ted Slaba 7, Joey Cournoeyr 4, Glenn Cournoyer, Braxton Knudsen and Treyson Zephier each scored 2.
Read moreThe Red Raider C team picked up their second win of the season defeating Chamberlain Friday night. Wagner jumped out to an 11-6 lead after the first period and led 26-25 at the half. The score stayed balanced throughout the second half, the Red Raiders won by a score of 40-30. Parker Petry had a game high 16 points for Wagner. Braxton Knudsen scored 8, Treyson Zephier 5, Caleb Zephier 4, Christian Doom 3, Gabe Houseman and Brady Cournoyer each scored 2.

The Wagner boys played a tough Vermillion team on Tuesday night at home. Wagner played an excellent first half trailing 35-23 but the TanagWers played lock down defense I the second half, holding the Red Raiders to just 8 points and pulling away with a 73-31 victory. Dustin Honomichl scored 12 points for Wagner, Chris Nelson had 9, Toby Zephier 8 and Carter Cournoyer 2. The Red Raiders will take on Burke Thursday night in Burke.

The Tanagers pulled away from Wagner in the fourth quarter outscoring them 15-2 making the final score 53-27. Wagner was led by Preston mcFayden who scored 11 points, Parker Petry, Ted Slaba and Joey Cournoyer each scored 4 points, Glenn and Carter Cournoyer each scored 2.
