Many years ago I went to an amateur baseball game at Watertown Stadium. It was my first time there, but it didn’t take long to sense that the place held some historical significance. I didn’t know it then, but the stadium is part of the lasting legacy of President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal, the initiative launched to pull the country out of the Great Depression of the 1930s.

4-H SOUP KITCHEN/ RECOGNITION EVENT

The Bon Homme 4-H Clubs will host their Annual Soup Kitchen Sunday, October 29th at the 4-H Grounds in Tyndall, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Soups, sandwiches and desserts will be served! Recognition Event will follow, beginning at 1 pm. 4-H members will receive recognition for their static and livestock projects from Horse Show and Achievement Days.
