WAGNER SCHOOL SCHEDULED TO BEGIN CLASSES AUGUST 20

Classes at Wagner Community School are still scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 20 with face-to-face instruction. The board is keeping in mind the circumstances and an influx of positive COVID-19 cases in the community could force plans to change, but as of Monday afternoon, they are ready and anxious to welcome students back to school as scheduled. The school is planning to implement strategies to minimize risk for staff, students and families. If there are changes to the school year calendar, they will be posted on the school website, Facebook page, and notifications made through the School Messenger system . Photo by Barb Pechous

Commercial State Bank has been wearing their Support Your Local Farmer shirts every Friday to show their producers and the community how much they appreciate them. In addition to wearing their shirts, they held a lunch Friday, August 14th, featuring locally raised beef, chips and a refreshment . South Dakota advocates for federal pandemic liability protections

Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg, along with 20 other state Attorney Generals, co-signed a letter to the United States Congress, authored by Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, urging the adoption of the protections contained in the Safe To Work Act.
