MILESTONE DONORS AT LIFESERVE BLOOD DRIVE

The LifeServe Blood Center blood drive sponsored by Avon Community on Wednesday, November 25 had a fantastic turn-out! There were 23 donors registered and 24 life-saving units of blood were donated. We appreciate everyone that came out to help boost the local blood supply! The units donated at the blood drive can help save up 72 lives! The Avon Oral Interpretation Team had three events qualify for the Region 2B competition. The three events placed as follows: Reese Powers and Makayla Kopp, Duet – 1st place, Sarah Swier, Storytelling – 2nd place, and Reece Loewe, Serious Prose – 2nd place.
