President Rachel Woods brought the Wagner Rotary Club to order on March 26th for its last meeting of the third quarter of the Rotary year. Rotarian/Pastor Bill Heerman gave a prayer of thanksgiving for the sunshine, fellowship, and food. President Woods introduced John and Carol Schneider as the guests for the day. It happened to be Carols’ birthday, so the club sang Happy Birthday to her.

We advanced the American Dream. We provided opportunities for families to grow even stronger. And we have further guaranteed the safety of our people. President Reagan once quipped that, “Democrats believe every day is April 15,” and the Biden administration’s reckless tax-and-spend agenda proves that the Gipper’s words still ring true today. After two years of adding trillions to the debt, fueling a multi-year inflation crisis, and increasing taxes by hundreds of billions of dollars, the president recently proposed hiking taxes another $4.7 trillion. This is the wrong prescription for our economy and our country.
