TERRY G. KRSNAK

Terry G. Krsnak, 72, passed away after a very short battle with lung cancer Friday, October 20, 2023, at Mayo PAC in Cannon Falls, MN. He was born in Wagner May 9, 1951, to Mike and Hattie (Podzimek) Krsnak, graduated from Wagner High School in May of 1969 and South Dakota State University (SDSU) on May 9, 1973. He was in ROTC and went on to work full time for the South Dakota National Guard in Rapid City for 32 years, retiring on February 7, 2007.

Terry was married to Julie (Honke) for 54 years. They had two sons, Patrick (Paula) and Jeffrey (Alayna), and two grandchildren, Avery (16) and Nathan (13). Terry and family lived in Wagner before moving to Rapid City for 30+ years where he made many friends. They then moved to South Whitlock Resort after retirement. He loved to spend his time fishing, gardening, and visiting with great friends there.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, two grandchildren, brother Dennis (Lee), brother Jim (Linda) and sister Judy Dauble along with many nieces and nephews.

Terry will be interred in a private ceremony with military rites at Black Hills National Cemetery with a graveside service November 6. There will be a celebration of life November 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Holiday Inn Rapid City Downtown. Kirk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
