I’ve relied too heavily on rip-rap in the past for walleyes and smallmouth bass, and most of the rip-rap has been exposed by low water. Also, I’ve never before seen so many large schools of baitfish. This could have something to do with it.

The committee for this award selects 8 boys and 8 girls from the surrounding Mitchell area to honor for athletic and academic achievements and community involvement. Brunsing is a threesport athlete, a 4.0 student, and involved in many school and community organizations.

Burial will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Peters Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
