Dear Editor: Wednesday, February 22nd the Senate Transportation Committee will meet at 7:45am in room 423 at our capitol and S 701 will be heard. S 701 is a Senate Resolution in Support of Rebuilding the Wagner SD Hwy 46 with four lanes. Those who are able are encouraged to come to Pierre and testify before the committee.

This resolution clearly states the facts and concerns of the stakeholders who utilize the current Highway 46 four lane through Wagner. We encourage supporters of the four lane to make two calls to the Senate Floor at 605 773 3821 from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday noon and early next week. On the first call leave a message thanking Senator Shawn Bordeaux for sponsoring SR 701 and a message for Senator Erin Tobin to testify for SR 701. For the second call leave a message for Senator Casey Crabtree and Senator Reynold Nesiba to tell them to support Senate Resolution 701. They are the Senate Majority and Minority Leaders.
