Success is created from personal interest, the caring about an idea, creativity, honest effort by those involved, proper planning, hard work, a certain amount of luck and people working together for the same positive goal in mind. In this case, the goal involves increasing cultural awareness, appreciation and acceptance for all cultures, building positive relationships and promoting community. To accomplish this goal a group of Horizons members and friends are working to create partnerships that will require active volunteerism and financial involvement, not just simple lip service to an idea. This group wants all parts of our community to work together by creating an activity that everyone will feel welcome to attend and participate in.
