One of the Most Wonderful events during Fish Days is the Mr. Carp and Ms. Bullhead competition. This year’s Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Candidates are ready to make their dreams come true by competing for their 2021 crown. In order for them to achieve this honor, they need your help! Vote for your favorite candidate by tossing some money in their bucket. They will be seen at various events during Fish Days and may have buckets at local businesses. The candidates who raise the most money will be crowned Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Saturday night during the street dance! Your contribution helps pay for the Fish Days events we all love to attend, so please participate in the tradition!

Kevin and his wife Tonia (Bechtold) also from Avon, reside in Yankton and are the parents of three children and have four grandchildren. Kevin graduated from SDSU with a degree in Ag Business and from the Army War College with a Masters in Strategic Studies.

The students are very fortunate to have a supportive community. The Wagner High School Native American Education Committee honored all of the seniors for their educational success and presented all seniors with their own personal Star Quilt in honor of their special day.
