The 10U girls softball team took home the Championship Title on Tuesday, June 28th. They celebrated with a parade around town on the Fire trucks. Coach, Tiffany Pelton commented on their season saying, "I couldn't be more proud of the 10U girls! Taking on my first coaching job was a breeze thanks to this group of girls. Their hard work all summer finally paid off and it's so deserved. Thanks to the girls for all their hard work and the parents that helped me along the way!" Monday evening, June 20th an extreme wind storm blew through Wagner with winds clocked at 109 mph. A grainbin at CHS was destroyed, an Evergreen tree was blown over, roots intact just missing the home and a large part of a tree at Wagner Lake broke off and fell on the picnic shelter. Marvin Gall is 94-years-old and has been a part of the annual Fish Days parade in Lake Andes for decades. His long-standing tradition of making unique floats and being a character in his own creations is well known throughout the local area. While his parade floats always generate a lot of buzz, they typically do not require a lot of planning.

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked in the ER, but some stories stay with me. One such story belongs to a woman in her early 30s. After a year of trying to conceive, she was finally pregnant. Then she started spotting. When she developed severe pain, and almost fainted while putting their toddler to bed, her husband brought her to the emergency room.
