President Jordan Weber presided over his first regular meeting of his Rotary Year by leading the members in prayer. Guests of Jeff Doom were Amy Doom and his mother Jeanette. Kristina Ymker was a guest of Amanda Bechen. The members sang ROTARY and then there was a moment of silence for Jerry Barnett.
Read moreKennedy Kourt recently took her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) exam on June 6th and passed to receive her EMT certification. Kennedy is the daughter of Trista and Dustin Kourt and a 2024 Wagner Community School graduate. Kennedy is currently in the process of obtaining her state license after which she plans to apply to work for the Wagner-Lake Andes Ambulance District.
Read more35 kids gave it their all in a local Pitch, Hit and Run Contest in Wagner July 11. They pitched, batted and ran in hopes to advance to the next level. The highest scores from all local contests will move to a regional competition and possibly the finals. Best of luck to all of our local winners! Read more“Sessions By The Lake” will once again return to the park at Wagner Lake beginning with the first of three follow up concerts to the “605 Unity Jam”. The first concert is on Thursday, August 1 starting at 6:30 and ending at 8:30. This concert series is a continuation of the unity message presented at the “Unity Jam” that was held in June at the Wagner Lake. A total of three different concerts will be held on the first three Thursday’s in August.

Read moreLuke Dangel attended the 4-H National Shooting Sports competition on June 23rd through June 28th in Grand Island, NE at the Heartland Public Shooting Park. Luke is the son of Mike and Tina Dangel and is a junior at Andes Central. Luke first joined 4-H when he was five years old as a Cloverbud. He became involved in 4-H as his family was already very involved. Luke has been a part of the shooting sports events for the past eight years. He participates in the air pistol, air rifle, .22 pistol, .22 rifle and archery. Luke originally started participating in shooting sports in the BB gun event.
