School is back in session, but don’t forget that the Library continues to be open each day 1-5 and 1-7 on Wednesdays. The library is here to help with some daily needs such as sending an email, checking your emails, completing a job application, checking out reading material for enjoyable reading, researching a recent medical diagnosis for yourself or someone you care for, practicing to take the drivers license test, take classes on line to complete your GED, or college classes, helping your child to practice reading skills, check out a classic DVD to enjoy during your leisure time. As you can see the library has something for everyone.

Read moreIn 2006 we purchase a motor cycle to travel on and we chose to do our traveling on state and county roads so that we had a better chance of seeing the real country and the people who live there. During the past 16 years and 115,000 miles we have met lots of people and noticed a lot about small towns along the way. Without intending to, we began to notice why some communities tend to survive and why others tend to not be able to do the same. The comments that follow relate to “what the road has taught us”.
