Read moreConstruction on the Library meeting at 500 Main Street is complete except for replacement of the front door, which will hopefully be completed soon. The Library will be open for patrons beginning on Monday, Oct. 24th at 1:00. There will be limited hours on both Tuesday the 25th and Thurs. the 26th so you may want to call 605 4877524 to check that someone is at the library. As we continue to get ready for the move to our new location schedules may be changing, library items may not be as assessable, but we are continuing to try to give everyone the best possible experience at the library.

Read moreThe Awana students from First Baptist Church will be doing Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat on Wednesday, October 26th. From 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. they will be going around town collecting non-perishable items to be given to the food pantry. Items moving quickly at the pantry are: canned vegetables (they have plenty of corn), corn bread mix, hot and cold cereals, flour, sugar, pasta and sauce. Ketchup, mustard, mayo, Miracle Whip, peanut butter, jellies and jams, hamburger helper, canned meats, facial tissue,bathroomtissues,papertowels,shampoo,toothpaste,adult tooth brushes, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
