The play was a lot of fun! Acting with people, messing around, and having fun was awesome! Everyone in the play worked super hard to memorize their lines and become the characters they played while on stage. The National Guard offersnumerousopportunities that will be quite beneficial for a young individual. For example, continuing education is completely, 100%freeregardless of your major! Moreover, the South Dakota Army National Guard offers something called the “GI Bill”. This is meant to cover additional costs while a soldier is in college such as rent, grocery costs, fuel and more. Which in my opinion, is a major benefit when it comes to college.

Is your child interested in 4-H, but you aren’t sure what it has to offer? The Jr Leaders will be hosting Give It a Try 4-H Day at the 4-H Center in Tyndall (1910 Birch St.) on Saturday, May 6th from 10-11:30 am. They are offering a workshop for youth ages 5-13 to learn more about the different project areas involved with 4-H program. Come and learn about showing poultry, rabbits, cats, beef and horses along with all the options for static projects.
