REGION WRESTLING RESULTS

The Raiders competed with seven wrestlers Saturday at the Region 3B wrestling tournament held in Wagner. We competed well, placing five wrestlers in the top four. Karstyn Lhotak, Jhett Breen, Bradyn Lhotak, and Nolan Dvorak will be competing in Rapid City at the state wrestling tournament February 25-27th. Jhett Breen and Bradyn Lhotak both won the Region and look to set themselves up for the state tournament. Freshman Tim Bouza and Junior Brennan Leines both had great seasons and have proven to be assets to the team in many ways. I look forward to working with them both in the future. The team will be leaving Wagner at 8:15 Wednesday morning. Competition starts at 10AM Thursday morning, continuing until Saturday afternoon.

A VACCINE STORY FOR THE AGES

Last summer we heard the prediction that by the end of 2020, we would have a safe, effective vaccine to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which had only been discovered, of course, in December 2019, before causing countless deaths and mayhem in the world as we knew it. I must admit, I was skeptical.
