ThankssoverymuchforattendingourMusicDepartment TailgateSupperacoupleweeksago.Wehadanamazingturn out and were able to raise almost enough money to cover the cost of musical tickets for this year's Senior Music Trip. We always appreciate your support and really rely on it in order to do these fun incentive trips. I don't want to list names in case I forget anyone, but I do want to acknowledge that a lot of parents and community members stepped up to help me put this on this year. Along with my amazing High School volunteers, I needed parental help serving food, parental help cleaning up while I was directing the Pep Band, I had parents take dishes home to clean for me, community members donate pans of bars to sell, the list goes on and on. I feel like you all really stepped up to help lighten the load for me this year, and I can't thank you enough for it. We hope to see you at some of our upcoming concerts and......Go Pirates!

AVERA KICKS OFF BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH WITH MOBILE MAMMOGRAM SCREENING

Avera sponsored an event to begin Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Fort Randall Casino on Friday, September 29th. Avera was able to bring the mobile mammogram unit to the Fort Randall Casino for breast cancer screenings, due to a grant from the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Even though Avera sponsored the event, it was because of local breast cancer survivor, Marci Uribe, that this event was created and took place.

LADY RED RAIDERS PUT AWAY MUSTANGS IN THREE SETS

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Colton to take on the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Saturday, September 30th. The Lady Red Raiders showed perseverance and rallied to win in 3 straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 27-25.
