WAGNER COMMUNITY SCHOOL PROVIDES GRAB & GO MEALS

Wagner Community School is closed this week following Governor Noem’s directive concerning the Coronavirus. With this closure the school is providing breakfast and lunch grab and go sack meals for children 18 years and younger. (Federal Regulation requires that children must be present in order to get the meals!)

ROTARY GIVES TO HELPING HANDS BACKPACK PROGRAM

The Wagner Rotary Club membersjoined efforts recently to raise money for the Helping Hands Backpack Program. At the Wagner Rotary Club’s Annual Valentine’s Supper, a silent auction was held on a variety of baskets. The proceeds of the silent auction as well as the regular “fines” of that evening went to the Helping Hands Backpack Program. Presenting the check to Sue Isebrands, is Patty Frei Wagner Rotary Club Secretary/Treasurer.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL #2676

Our local council #2676 had our February meeting on Tuesday the 4th. Cooks for the meeting were Clayton Rados and Mike Cihak. They provided a great meal for the council. The meeting had 30 members in attendance and before meeting the knights helped put everything back in the rooms at the CCD center as the flooring project was completed.

COMMUNITY EASTER CANTATA PERFORMANCES SCHEDULED

The Bon Homme Community Easter Cantata is making final preparations for this years performances. “Closer to the Cross” by Dave Clark and Nick Robertson, Arranged and Orchestrated by Nick Robertson is the title for this years Easter Cantata. The choir once again is directed by Autumn Schultz. Closer to the Cross is an invitation to draw near to God and to experience, through worship, just what it took for Jesus to overcome death, hell and the grave. Contemporary music with familiar songs as we celebrate the Journey of Christ.
