WAGNER FALLS TO PLATTE/GEDDES IN OVERTIME

The Red Raiders lost to a good Platte Geddes team in overtime on the road Friday night. Wagner trailed 12-10 after the first period and were leading 26-22 after the first half. Platte cut the lead to 2 points heading into the fourth period. Chris Nelson made 2 free throws with 5.7 seconds left to tie the game at 52 and send the game to over time. Platte outscored Wagner 8-2 in the extra period winning the game 60-54. Chris Nelson scored 15 points to lead the team. Preston McFayden had 14 points, Carter Cournoyer and Parker Petry each scored 8, Glenn Cournoyer added 4, Joey Cournoyer scored 3 and Ted Slaba added 2 points.
