FLORINE EHRISMAN

Due to Covid-19 concerns, private graveside services for Florine Ehrisman, 93, of Wagner were held Thursday, November 5, with burial in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Florine (Reinschmidt) Ehrisman was born in rural Wagner, on May 21, 1927, the daughter of Henry and Clara (Stock) Reinschmidt. She died Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton.

Florine married Jim Ehrisman in Clifton, OK on September 24, 1946. Together they farmed in the Ravinia area until they retired and moved into Wagner in 1990.

Florine and Jim enjoyed traveling to Texas to spend their winters for 19 years. During their time in Texas they belonged to a group of people who traveled to Progresso, Mexico every Christmas day, where they handed out toys and hot dogs to over 500 underprivileged children. When back in Wagner, Florine volunteered at the Good Samaritan Center.

Florine was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Wagner.

Thankful for having shared her life are her two sons: Terry (Jan) Ehrisman of Lincoln, NE and Tommy (Ann) Ehrisman of Hooksett, NH; five grandchildren: Rosalee (Alex) Garcia, Jason Ehrisman, Shane Ehrisman, Christopher Ehrisman and Nikolas (April) Warejcka; two great grandchildren: Torey and Paxton Warejcka; son-in-law, Doug Warejcka and her brother Doyle (Norma) Reinschmidt of Wagner.

Florine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her daughter Sandra Warejcka; her sister Darlene Newman, and her brothers: Harold, Willard and Henry Reinschmidt Jr.
