Funeral services for Janith Rolston were held Tuesday, December 17 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation was Monday, with a sharing of memories. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Janith May Rolston was born in Des Moines, IA on October 27, 1942 to Ernest and Pearl (Witte) Beem. She died Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home in Wagner.

Janith graduated from high school in Lake Andes in 1961. She married Dorlan Wayne Rolston on March 18, 1961 in Lake Andes. She worked at Buche’s for several years and the pork plant. She then was a homemaker and raised her family.

Janith will be remem-bered for her love for her family, playing bingo, taking her grandkids to ball games, sewing, making star quilts, drag racing, cooking dinner for everyone and she especially enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins play baseball.

Thankful for having shared her life are her daughters: Kathy and Robert Kazena and Brenda and Ronnie Fredrich of Wagner; 10 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; sister Betty Keatts of Pasco, WA; brother Larry and Bridgette Beem of Waynesville, MO; sister-in-law Linda Bambas of Ravinia; and many nieces and nephews.

Janith was preceded in death by her husband Dorlan, daughter Michelle and Randy Meiers, Sr.; parents Pearl and Ernest; great grandson Joesph Namminga, Sr.; great granddaughter Maycie Andrews; sister Kathy Jo Beem; brother Richard and Verna Beem; brothers- in-law: Ronald Bambas, Merritt and Anna Tatum, Wesley Keatts, Harold and Gloria Rolston, Marvin and Dollie Rolston; sister-in-law Maude Ellen Rolston; and father and mother-in-law Fenton and Thelma Rolston.
