KATHY BREN

Kathy Bren of Centennial, CO. passed away August 30, 2023, at her home at the age of 68.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Kathy was born February 24,1955 to Joseph and Betty Bren in Wagner. She was the third child of nine.

After graduating from high school in 1973 she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing degree at SDSU.

She worked in Sioux Falls and Wagner. In 1987 she moved to Denver, CO and worked at Porter Adventist hospital where she retired after 30 years. Kathy loved making quilts, baking, cooking, traveling and fancy needlework. She was very talented in her hobbies.

She is survived by her son, Bryon Bren and her granddaughters Sophia and Libby of Centennial, CO.

Brothers James (Theresa) Bren of Forest Grove, OR and Robert (Cindy) Bren of Gillette, WY. Siswhere ters Cheryl (Jack) Anderson, of Clever, MO., Janette Westendorf of Wagner, Jeanne (Rod) Payer, of Lake Andes, Patricia and Richard Fuchs of Pickstown., Pam (Gary) Carda of Wagner. 19 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews and three great, great nieces and nephews all of whom loved their Aunt Kathy!

Preceding her in death were her parents Joe and Betty Bren, little brother David and daughter in law Erica Bren.
