Batherine “Bea” Feather (St. Pierre) 95, of Pendleton, OR died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA. Funeral services were Thursday, January 21 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial was at the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, Greenwood.

Batherine was born on the Ihanktonwan (Yankton) reservation, Greenwood, to Jesse P. St. Pierre and Edna M. (Rondell) St. Pierre, on February 12, 1925.

She completed her high school education at St. Mary’s School in Springfield. She eventually continued her education to become a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist with the Indian Health Service in Wagner, Rapid City, Neah Bay, Washington and Pendleton, Oregon where she resided. Upon her retirement, she was employed at Yellow Hawk Tribal Clinic in Pendleton, Oregon as receptionist and other administrative functions.

Her family remembers her as very independent, loving and caring mother. With this came strong values in education and work ethics.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Susan Kunz, Velma Dion and Midge Breen. Brothers: Jesse John, Voyle and Vine St. Pierre. Daughter: Barb Williamson, sons: John J. Williamson, Bobby White Shield (baby).

She is survived by sons: Dale Williamson, Wagner, Wayne Williamson, Sioux Falls, William (Bill) Williamson, Chamberlain and Robert White Shield, Pendleton, OR, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
