ROBERT BROOKS

Robert (Rob) E. Brooks was born on December 2, 1957 in Winfield, KS and passed away on November 6, 2021 in Newton, KS.

Rob was a lifelong mechanic and enjoyed working on big diesels in particular. His knowledge of vehicle engines was vast and many sought out his advice. He enjoyed life and had a special place in his heart for babies and older folks. Rob had a great sense of humor and was known to pull pranks.

Left to miss him are his wife of 27 years Melody; his beloved dog, Champ; son, Bud; daughter, Amanda and granddaughter, Fallon; Step-children, Candy, Jarid, Breea and Ricky; brother, Lyle Robinson of Rapid City, Linda Shipman of Wichita, KS Peggy Little of Avoca, MN, Sherry Thomas of Broomfield, CO and Georgia Andersh of Wagner.

Rob had many friends and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. We lost an original caring and intelligent man who will be sorely missed.

A graveside service was held Saturday, December 4 at Maize Park Cemetery, Maize, KS.
