MINERVA JANDREAU

Services for Minerva Ann Jandreau were held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Wake services began June 7th at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of the arrangements.

Minerva Ann Jandreau was born September 15, 1959 in Winnebago, NE to Floyd Paul Jandreau and Gertrude (Black Cole/Arpan) Jandreau. She passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Minerva grew up in Greenwood/ Marty/Wagner area and graduated high school in 1980. She attended Dakota Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in May of 1992. She worked at Marty Indian School for 15 plus years.

Minerva enjoyed playing Bingo and slot machines, doing crossword puzzles, watching Dateline, as well as spending time with family and loved ones.

She can be best remembered by all the students who attended the Marty Indian School dormitory. She also was there for her grandkids.

She is survived by her brother Raymond Jandreau; sister Adeline “Addie” Jandreau; her children: Jeremiah Jandreau (Tessa Peters), Fay Langdeuux (George Gerken), Minerva “Mindy” Langdeaux (Mario Nelson), Georgia (Robert) Reynolds, George Langdeaux (Esmé), and Santana LeClaire, and Kasia Jandreau; grandkids; great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Paul Jandreau and Gertrude “Gerti” Jandreau; a brother David Daryl Jandreau; and a nephew, Baptiste Paul White Eyes
