KEITH A. FISCHER

Services for Keith A. Fischer, 76, of Grand Island NE were held Friday, April 19 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Island, NE.

Keith A. Fischer passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 with family by his side. Keith was born October 8, 1942 to Wilbert and Alyce Fischer in Geddes. He graduated from Wagner High School in 1960. He was a member of the Wagner Fire Department and was in the South Dakota National Guard.

He was united in marriage to Jane Nolan on August 1, 1964 in Fairfax. They made their home in Grand Island NE where they raised their three sons. He worked for New Holland until retiring in 1999 when he opened his own business in Grand Island, Industrial and Maintenance Services, Inc.

Keith enjoyed golf, pool, playing blackjack and was an avid horse race fan. He loved attending family gatherings, especially spending time with all the grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Jane; sons and their spouses, Todd and Michelle of Raleigh, NC, Brian and Susan of Scottsdale, AZ, and Brent and Annette of Grand Island; a sister, Connie Fischer; two brothers, Lynn and Sherri Fischer and Jerome and Angie Fischer all of Wagner; six grandchildren, Alexander, Alexandria, Nolan, Jade, Nicolette and Madison; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother William and nephew Michael.
