JENNA MATTIS

Jenna Lucyann Mattis, 26, of Wagner passed away May 6, 2023. Funeral services were held May 12 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jenna Lucyann Mattis was born June 1, 1997 to Todd and Angela (Goulette) Mattis. She was the little sister to Joseph and Jacob and big sister to Jefferson. She also had an old brother Zachery. Jenna attended Wagner Community School, where she was Prom Queen in 2015.

She earned her GED from Marty in 2016. She had numerous jobs in her life, but the most cherished job was being a mother to Leonidas.

She was a determined little girl who had a heart of gold that would help anyone in need whether it was human or animal, She was hunter and fisherwoman keeping up with her brothers. In her spare time she was also a good artist. Our time with her was too short.

She is survived by her parents, brothers, grandparents Robert and Pat Goulette of Wagner, uncle Robbie of Wagner, her aunt Stefanie Goulette (Brad) of Pine Ridge; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandmothers.

She was preceded in death by Goldie Redwing, Buzz Roulette, uncle Tony Thomas, Canku- Thomas, cousin Ritchie and Emma Picotte, big brother Devin Goulette, and her son Leonidas James Thompson.
