BRUCE ECKERT

A private burial for Bruce Eckert, 67, of Ruskin FL, formerly of Avon, will be held at the Gramkow-Vesper Lutheran Cemetery, rural Avon at a later date.

Bruce Wayne Eckert was born June 15, 1956 in Tyndall, to Victor and Doris (Ehresmann) Eckert. He died Monday, September 4, 2023 of natural causes.

Bruce attended and graduated from Avon High School in 1974.

Bruce worked at Doom's in Wagner, until he moved to Florida where he started his own landscaping business until he retired.

Bruce will be remembered for his love of all animals including his bearded dragon, parrots, ferrets, horses, and dogs. Most importantly Bruce will be remembered for his love for his family and friends.

Thankful for having shared his life are his brother Mark (Brenda), sister Cindy (Wes); his son Richard (Cynthia); daughter Andrea (Jeffrey); seven grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
