Leona F. Horst, age 90 of Yankton, passed away Friday, December 06, 2024 at Avera Sister James Care Center, Yankton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Dante, with Rev. Jim Friedrich officiating. Burial to follow the Mass in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the church with a Wake service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Loren G. Davis, 87, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. Loren was born on July 5, 1937, to Scott and Alma (Noreen) Davis in Wagner. Loren, the youngest of eight siblings, proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and went on to achieve success in computer design.
