The Sweet Clover 4-H club met October 8 at 6 p.m. The Ferwerda family hosted. President Maddy called the meeting to order. Flag Pledges were led by Hailey. Ten members were present. The secretary's report was given by Rilyn. Hailey motioned to approve the report, seconded by Josie. The treasurer's report was given by Carmindy. Whitley motioned to approve the report, seconded by Hailey.

Read moreThe 2023-2024 school year marks the beginning of Rosie Koupal’s 50th year of working for the Wagner Community School. After graduating from Wagner High School in 1972, Rosie attended the University of South Dakota at Springfield (USD-Springfield). She graduated from USD-Springfield in May of 1973 with a secretarial associate degree. After graduating from college, Rosie wanted to work in her hometown of Wagner. At the time, there was only one secretarial position being advertised and that was with the Wagner school. In August of 1973, she was hired by the high school principal, Dale E. Hall, and thus began her career at Wagner Community School.

Weather permitting and with timely installment of the needed service equipment, the drive up will soon be operational for bank customers. The bank has been at its Avon location since 1933, moving here that year from the bank’s original charter location in Kingsburg, which started in 1914.

However when these vessels become abnormally swollen or dilated, they are called varicose veins. This swelling is caused by the valves inside the veins becoming weak and no longer sealing tightly. Varicose veins can become painful, quite large and stick out from the surface of the skin.
