On February 18th, the Helping Hands board held their annual Empty Bowl project in the Wagner Community School gymnasium. They collected $727 on the art projects and $890.50 on the food.

The Knights of Columbus state free throw shoot was held this past Sunday in Chamberlain. Students compete at local and Region sites and then were chosen to compete at the state competition.

1st through 6th grade students at Andes Central Elementary participated in the school’s annual Spelling Bee on Tuesday, February 11. The spelling bee consisted of two parts: a written test of 35 words and an oral contest.
