Read moreA youth fishing contest will be one of the activities at the 605 Unity Jam that is coming to Wagner Lake Sunday, June 13. Children ages 5 through 16 are encouraged to come to the lake and try their hand at catching a fish during the contest time period. This activity will not only be fun, but will also help local youth make a few new friends along the way. Parents and guardians are encouraged to come and help their child learn about the fun of fishing or at least cheer them on as they make a good attempt at catching a fish.

The plan includes a profile and risk assessment of the various natural hazards that affect the county, such as blizzards, tornadoes, flooding, and droughts, and presents a disaster mitigation strategy designed to lessen the impacts of the hazards. The plan is available for public review at the Bon Homme County Emergency Management Office. Read moreOn May 10, 1946, veterans from the Wagner area came together to charter what was to become known as Rollie Bucholz VFW Post 7319. When the ink dried, there were 57 veterans, mostly from WWII, who had joined the organization as charter members. That was 75 years ago.
Read moreAs we approach the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, we wish to remind the community of the rules for decorations at the Wagner Cemetery. Out of respect to families, our volunteer cemetery board has thoughtfully considered what is in the best interest of families and also what is in the best interest of the maintenance and mowing of the cemetery. Much thought was put into what is appropriate and also what is able to be maintained. Please be considerate of the volunteers who have given their time to help clean up the cemetery and also the mowing crew that we have contracted to keep the cemetery mowed and trimmed this summer.
