A Unity Art Dedication and Concert with Singer/Songwriter Koby Jordan was held Saturday on the north side of Wagner Lake. Presenters included: Wagner School Superintendent Matt Yost, Wagner Chamber of Commerce President Lucy Leines, Yankton Sioux Tribe Chairman Robert Flying Hawk and SD Leadership Institute Founder, Billie Sutton. The Wagner Saddle Club did an amazing job of putting together another great Labor Day Rodeo on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Pictured below is John Havranek, President of the Wagner Saddle Club. This summer I attended the celebration of life service for Dr. Rick Holm, the original Prairie Doc who founded this newspaper column, a radio show and a television show now entering its twentieth season. He died from pancreatic cancer in March of 2020 during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and thus there was no public service at the time.
