Members of court St. Rose of Lima #700 of the Wagner/Dante Parishes, will host their annual soup supper on Sunday March 19th, beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The menu will consist of chicken noodles soup, chili soup, chicken salad sandwiches, ham sandwiches and dessert. Coffee and juice will also be served. A cake walk, raffle and silet auction will also be held in conjunction with the soup supper.

Rotarian Bryan Slaba also submitted an article one of the weeks while I was on vacation. Producers have until March 15, 2023, to enroll in these two programs. ARC provides income support payments on historical base acres when actual crop revenue declines below a specified guaranteed level. PLC provides income support payments on historical base acres when the effective price for a covered commodity falls below its reference price. Farm owners cannot enroll in either program unless they have a share interest in the farm.
