Members of court St. Rose of Lima #700 of the Wagner/Dante Parishes, will host their annual soup supper on Sunday March 19th, beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The menu will consist of chicken noodles soup, chili soup, chicken salad sandwiches, ham sandwiches and dessert. Coffee and juice will also be served. A cake walk, raffle and silet auction will also be held in conjunction with the soup supper.

Rotarian Bryan Slaba also submitted an article one of the weeks while I was on vacation. Read moreAgricultural producers can now change election and enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage programs for the 2023 crop year, two key safety net programs offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Producers have until March 15, 2023, to enroll in these two programs. ARC provides income support payments on historical base acres when actual crop revenue declines below a specified guaranteed level. PLC provides income support payments on historical base acres when the effective price for a covered commodity falls below its reference price. Farm owners cannot enroll in either program unless they have a share interest in the farm.
