Karl F. Flood, 37, of Marty, died Monday, April 22, 2024 in his home in Marty. Funeral services were Thursday, April 25 at the YST Community Center in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery. Wake services began Tuesday, April 23 at the community center. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Karl Francis Flood was born in Yankton March 18, 1987 to Ate Earl Flood Sr. and Ina Darcy Flood. He lived in Greenwood until he was six years old then moved to Marty, where he resided at the time of his passing.

He was a good dad, he loved spending time with his kids, and did all he could to take care of them and have them together as much as he possibly could.

He loved telling jokes and making people laugh with his funny stories. He was a good mechanic working jobs in Yankton. He loved tattooing, drawing, fishing, video games, card games, and board game with family and friends. He loved playing basket-ball. His favorite teams are the Lakers and Raiders. He loved all things Samuari/Ninja. He loved to cook especially for the family. His favorite colors were red, black, and white. He loved listening to rap and hip-hop Wu-Tang being one of his favorites and oldies.

He is survived by his siblings: Rhonda Hare, Earl Flood Jr., Josephine Flood, Sara Dvoracek, Richard Pound, Kayla Flood, Nick Flood, and Luke Dvoracek; children: Xaviah Flood, Lyla Flood, Kashius Flood, and Katana Flood; ex-wife Roselyn Flyinghawk; wife Darrah; parents Earl Sr. and Darcy Flood; brother-in-law Bradley Rotterman; all family and friends of his.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Richard Smith and Eric Flood; son Kuan Flood; and all other relatives who have gone to the spirit world.
